Nov 26, 2021 – (IndyPL) – Winners of the Slammin’ Rhymes Challenge XV presented their poetry at Central Library during The Indianapolis Public Library’s Fall Fest 2021. Fall Fest is an annual program of the Library’s African-American History Committee in support of the Center for Black Literature & Culture at Central Library. It is made possible by the Donna D. Talley Story Theatre Fund and Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
Indianapolis Public Library: the Book Mobile
Jan 27, 2021 (Craig Dehut) – Back in 2018, I helped to produce this video in partnership with the Indianapolis Public Library. Bruce Benton is one of the drivers of “The Book Mobile,” a mobile library that carries books to excited readers all over Indianapolis, especially into lesser served areas. People like Bruce help to provide an incredible resource with such positivity, it’s impossible not to get excited when you see “The Book Mobile” roll up!
