Dirt is Back! USAC Midgets & Sprints Return to IMS in 2026

The Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway will host two major USAC events in 2026: the BC39 Presented by Avanti Windows & Doors for Midgets on June 30-July 1, and the opening night of USAC NOS Energy Drink Indiana Sprint Week for Sprint Cars on July 23.

Event Highlights

• BC39 Presented by Avanti Windows & Doors (June 30-July 1): The eighth running of this prestigious 1/5th-mile dirt oval event honors the memory of Bryan Clauson and features top USAC Midget racers.
  • Recent Winner: Cannon McIntosh (two-time winner in 2024 and 2025).
• USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship (July 23): The 900-horsepower Sprint Cars will open the 39th annual Indiana Sprint Week, preceding Brickyard Weekend action on the main oval.
  • This is a points race and part of a highly anticipated eight-event, 10-night Indiana Sprint Week series.
