At 11:35 this morning, Indiana State Police and Sullivan County emergency agencies responded to a two-vehicle head-on crash in Shelburn. One driver was transported for injuries.
This morning around 7:45, Indiana State Police and the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a trespassing complaint in the area of 5828 West State Road 58. The subsequent investigation revealed the trespasser was wanted on a warrant.
At 10:15 this morning, Indiana State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on State Road 154 near County Road 600W. The crash involved a Sullivan County EMS ambulance and a Sullivan County Highway dump truck.
Preliminary investigation revealed a gray 2010 Kia Forte, driven by 19-year-old Taylor Thrasher of Merom, IN., was eastbound on SR 154 approaching stopped traffic near CR 700 W. Thrasher failed to stop and struck a silver 2011 Ford F-250 pickup in the rear, driven by 70-year-old Duane Wampler of Merom, IN.
